When a Christian shuns fellowship with other Christians, the devil smiles. When he stops studying the Bible, the devil laughs. When he stops praying, the devil shouts for joy.

He Had Provided All We Need to PRAY

God the Holy Spirit is basically the very Spirit of the Word and the Spirit of Prayer. God the Father, the Spirit, is the Spirit of Jesus and these three in one make us partakers of the life of God.

If we understand this in our heart and minds we will change the way we use the Word of God and prayer.

Looking at Christ’s life it is easy to see the way he valued the Word. He hid it in His heart; He used it against temptation; He used it on every opportunity that came up, and even on the cross. His life revealed that the Word of God overflowed from His heart and life. The Word flowed from His lips.

Looking closely at Christ’s prayer life reveals two truths to us:
• Prayer is our only hope of living a life in such a manner that every word of God can be fulfilled in us and that the word of God comes out of our heart and mouths.
• Through the Word God have given us all the material we need for prayer.

The truth is, we can come to a place of complete transformation. That place is where the Word and prayer rule and reign in our hearts. Yes, we can by faith, have the life of Christ in us here on earth. His kingdom can come in our midst. The Spirit, who filled Jesus Christ with the Word and prayer while he was human in every way, will also realize this very work in us.
